Many of us feel unsafe while travelling alone in a bus or a cab, and wished there could be an automated way to notify your friends and family members when you are in danger or in case of any emergency alert.
StaySafe is an Android and iOS app that allows you to automatically inform an emergency alert to your contacts and send them the latest information of your GPS location. Start the countdown on the app for a certain time if needed extend and don't forget to stop the timer it sends an emergency alert to your emergency contacts.

To use StaySafe, you can download the app to your mobile phone from the Google Play App Store or the iTunes app store. After installing the app on your mobile phone, Enter your name and contact number, so that your emergency alert will be sent to your contacts and know your identity when they are informed that you may be in danger.
Choose a PIN or password for your StaySafe account. After that select the people from your address book whom you want an emergency alert to be informed.
You are now ready to use StaySafe to send an emergency alert to your contacts in case of danger. When you start a journey alone and StaySafe will look for your safety, simply press start countdown button.
You will be asked to enter the duration of the journey, from which the app will start counting down you can also increase the duration of your journey. If you don't cancel the countdown before it ends, StaySafe will send an emergency alert such as your current location to your emergency contact that something is wrong.
You emergency alert will receive an email with a link to w web page that shows your current location and also the entire path you traveled after you started the countdown timer.
